The sense of excitement and anticipation always picks up the week of Sectionals. Yet we need to pause and give a proper tribute to the passing of I.W.C.O.A. Hall of Fame member, Mr. Greg Brooks. He wrestled and played football at Hirsch High school in Chicago. After wrestling at Luther College in Iowa, Greg came back home and never left. He was a steady foundation of Public League Wrestling for decades. At the same time, he became an accomplished official. In recent years, when he would attend a tournament, the environment felt whole just by his presence. He will be missed. Our thoughts and Prayers to his family and all who were close to him.
