Nancy L. Raines of Schaumburg, Ill., died April 22, 2022, age 67.

Nancy was the loving daughter of the late Charles and the late June Raines and dear sister of Linda (Stewart Maida) Raines ‘79.

Nancy spent her professional career at a national healthcare communications company, Professional Office Services. She had a 46-year journey at POS, beginning in 1976 until retiring just this past Feb. Over her 40 years in professional sales, she not only earned the respect of her colleagues and customers, Nancy won the company’s highest sales awards on eight different occasions. She launched the Eastern Iowa market in 1983 and went on to run the Northern Chicagoland market for the last 35 years. She loved her work family as did they her. She also had a great love for animals, especially her cats. In her free time Nancy loved to read, work in her garden, and travel. She also enjoyed entertaining and spending time with her family, godchildren, friends and neighbors.

A Memorial Visitation was held April 30, 2022, at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northeast corner of Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, IL. 60169. A donation to your favorite or local animal shelter/rescue would be appreciated.
