CLIFFORD TENOLD of Northwood, Iowa, died May 6, 2012, at age 91, at the Lutheran Retirement Home in Northwood. A public visitation for Clifford was held May 12, 2012, at the Conner Colonial Chapel, Northwood, followed by a private family service. The family would like to suggest that memorial contributions be made to the Lutheran Retirement Home or to Luther College in his memory. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, ELIZABETH (TENOLD) TOKHEIM ’70 (husband: PAUL TOKHEIM ‘69) of Aurora, Colo., Kenneth Tenold of Northwood, and Eddie Tenold of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; two grandchildren, PETER TOKHEIM ‘99 (wife: NELLE (HENRY) TOKHEIM ‘99) of Arvada, Colo., and their son Erik Tokheim, and MARK TOKHEIM ‘01 (wife: LEE ANN ADEN ‘01) of Aurora, Colo.; and many other extended family members and friends. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Lou; three brothers, Orel, Alton, and Leland; and a sister, Eleanor Ludwig.
