SCOTT J. THOMAS went to be with The Lord on March 31, 2012 at the age of 56. He was teaching pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lisle, Ill. Cherished husband of Diane (nee Pfister). Devoted father of Becky and Michelle Thomas. Beloved son of Doris (nee Kunz) and the late Morris Thomas. Loving brother of Robert (Kim) Thomas. Dear uncle of Adam & Aubrey Thomas, Kristina & Adam Peterson, Amy & Nikolai Guerra, Janet & Nathan Pfister, Melanie & Ricky Pfister and Maxwell and Melissa Sieglinger. Loving son in law of Richard and the late Joanne Pfister. Fond brother in law of Linda (Dean) Kueker, David (Julie) Pfister, Eric (Judy) Pfister and Beth (David) Sieglinger. Scott enjoyed fishing and his passion was bringing people to Christ and continued to minister to people during his own illness. Services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1101 Kimberly Way, Lisle, with burial at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Twice as Many Fund at Trinity Lutheran Church would be greatly appreciated.
