Lab Research

My research interests are fairly broad and span the disciplines of developmental psychology, psychometric science, and evolutionary psychology.  Consequently, projects within my lab reflect this broad orientation.  Recently, my lab has focused on identifying the mediators of the attachment to parents and adjustment to college relationship.  We have also conducted several studies focused on differential grandparent investment in grandchildren—as a function of paternity certainty.  Finally, we are currently developing a new measure of materialism based on attachment theory.
