Dear Classmates:

We hope you had a relaxing, good summer and enjoyed a lovely fall. It was a very special homecoming at Luther this year. There was spectacular fall weather, and the traditional weekend events—Friday evening alumni dinner; Saturday Hoslett lecture, class reunions, and Flamingo Ball; Sunday worship and afternoon concert—were as good as ever. And everything was garnished with the aura of a new era, the inauguration of Paula Carlson as the college’s 10^th president being the centerpiece of the weekend.
