Last Saturday we visited Perry Null Trading Company and Pawn Shop as well as the Gallup flea market and made out like bandits.

With evenings off and perpetually adventurous souls in the group, leave it to us to decide that the only acceptable spot for viewing the stars was at the top of the Hogback hills behind Rehoboth.

The other night we were lucky enough to be paid a visit by Rehoboth Christian School's superintendent, Carol Bremer-Bennett, to speak about her experiences, culture, and heritage.

A look at our escapades this Sunday, which included trips to the J. L. Hubbell Trading Post, Window Rock Park, and El Rancho historic hotel.

Our hiking experiences were blown out of the water on Saturday, which was was spent following in the footsteps of the ancient Navajo and Pueblo tribes in the awe-inspiring Canyon de Chelly in Chinle, Arizona.

Last night, those of us working in the elementary school let the whole world know just what's going through our minds when we're counting to 100 with the kids. Tonight, the three of us in the high school let you know what we've been up to this week, besides (again) gallavanting through the mountains and marathoning Harry Potter in the evenings. 

After five days of working in the schools, we're bound to have learned something by now. A day full of extreme grocery shopping, hiking, and definitely not petting the dogs.

We have arrived safely in Gallup, New Mexico, although it took longer than expected.
