LIS and our vendor Innovative Interfaces have now made available Research Pro, a federated search tool allowing multiple source searching across nearly 30 different data sources. A portion of this product is now also available in our new discovery services platform Encore.

Research Pro is currently available primarily from Magnus. To access the service, you can login to your account and then click the Research Pro button. You may need to reauthenticate at this step using your library credentials. You can then mix and match a collection of resources for searching. You can save your group if you wish as a collection that will appear in your Magnus record for easy access in the future.

We have not yet developed documentation on Research Pro, nor are all the kinks worked out yet. We are also awaiting the inclusion of Academic Search Complete as a source. More information will be available as it develops.
