Information Literacy in the Disciplines

Have you ever wondered what students in specific disciplines should be able to know and master when it comes to research and using information resources? Many accrediting agencies and librarian groups have established discipline-specific guidelines based on the Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education established by ACRL (the Association of College and Research Libraries) in 2000. The links below will take you to the documents that outline the standards that the Luther College librarians work from when teaching people about the library.
