Rachel Vagts elected to Society of American Archivists leadership role

Rachel Vagts, College Archivist, was elected vice chair/chair elect of the Society of American Archivists College and University Archives section. The largest section of the Society, Vagts previously served on the C&U steering committee, as chair of the SAA Membership committee and as a member of the Annual Meeting Task Force.

Founded in 1936, the Society of American Archivists is North America’s oldest and largest national archival professional association. SAA’s mission is to serve the educational and informational needs of more than 5,500 individual and institutional members and to provide leadership to ensure the identification, preservation, and use of records of historical value.
