Rachel Vagts, College Archivist, was elected vice chair/chair elect of the Society of American Archivists College and University Archives section. The largest section of the Society, Vagts previously served on the C&U steering committee, as chair of the SAA Membership committee and as a member of the Annual Meeting Task Force.

Founded in 1936, the Society of American Archivists is North America’s oldest and largest national archival professional association.
