Professional Service

My service to the local, regional, and national community is in several areas. I offer no-cost workshops and speak at numerous local events including DARE graduations, church functions, and school events on the local level.

At the regional and national level, I serve as a consulting editor for the Journal of General Psychology and an assistant editor for the International Journal of Healing and Caring. I also do reviews for several journals and the American Psychological Association and Society for Behavioral Medicine annual conferences.

I also provide a wide variety of statistical support services to colleagues near and far and offer data entry, data analysis, and interpretation advice.

I am an American Psychological Association, Division 52, Disaster Preparedness and Violence Prevention Committee member, and am on the Advisory Board for Association of Trauma Outreach and Prevention, Meaningful World.
