Luther College Black Alumni Association
Washington, D.C. Tour

Schedule of Events - To be updated

In 2019, we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the Black Student Union at Luther College with a long list of memorable events, guest lecturers, and meaningful dialog. A spring gala capped off the yearlong celebration bringing many of us together on campus for the first time in years. We had a lot of fun!

This spring, the Black Alumni Association invites you to Washington, D.C., for a long weekend gathering. The positive energy from the 50th Anniversary celebration keeps moving us forward. Please join us April 21- 26, 2020 to enjoy a tour of the nation’s capital and to celebrate with good Luther friends.

In addition to all the usual sights that make a trip to Washington, D.C., memorable, we are planning group visits to the National Museum of African American History and Culture, an evening Washington, D.C., After Dark Tour, a morning worship at the Howard University Sunday Chapel Service, and an opportunity to share your thoughts at a meeting of the Luther College Black Alumni Association. There are so many things to see and do in D.C., but mostly, we just want to see you there to share some time and renew our friendships.
