Elevator

The key for the elevator is located in the bottom-right corner of the Key Board. Use this key to activate the elevator for transport to the Closed Stacks area (basement/DEPO).
Do NOT take the elevator key with you to the basement. Place the elevator on Hold, use the key to activate the button, replace the key on the Key Board, then release the elevator Hold.
Library and ITS staff (including student workers) and Luther staff (including student workers) from other offices on campus with storage in the basement (treasurer’s office, anthropology, registrar’s office, facilities) may be let down the elevator to the basement when they request it. Do NOT let anyone take the key with them. Activate the elevator yourself if they ask to be let down to the basement.
