Archon Day - July 17, 2012

On Tuesday, July 17, Luther College will host Archon Day, a day-long opportunity for Archon users and interested parties to share, learn, and connect with each other. Over 30 archivists and information professionals from around the Midwest region are planning to attend. The content for the day is driven by individuals sharing their own experiences and Archon instances. Session topics include basic installing and upgrading, the digital content library, and customizing Archon. Also, time will be spent showing six different instances of Archon that are currently being used by area institutions and also discussing the advantages and disadvantages of the software and the possibility of getting people together to update the current documentation.

Attached to this blog post is the detailed schedule for the day. For further information, please contact Sasha Griffin ([email protected]), Rachel Vagts ([email protected]), or Tom Steman ([email protected]).
