Applied Learning

When it is possible, students with an Asian Studies minor are encouraged to pursue internships in their country or culture of interest. To see what kind of internships are available, go to the Center for Global Learning (CGL) website and choose Search for All Off-Campus Programs.

The Career Center is another resource for internships and includes many that are not found in the CGL databases. In the past five years, the Career Center has helped students find internships in medicine, marketing, management, dentistry, crisis center intervention, and banking in a number of different Asian countries including Bangladesh, India, Nepal, China, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
