ANNOUNCEMENTS

Staff (and interested faculty) development opportunity: 'Faith and Learning on the Ground'

What does it mean to be a college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America? How does Luther differ from other faith-based colleges? How might we respond when a student says her religion class shattered her faith? Staff (and interested faculty) are invited to participate in a half-day session to learn more about Luther's identity and philosophy as a college of the church.

Led by Pastor Mike Blair and Professor Kristin Swanson, this workshop was held last summer and was so well received it is being offered again. Join us Wednesday, Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. to noon in Hammarskjold.

This staff development opportunity will be counted as work time but staff should make the appropriate arrangements with their supervisors. To register click here. For more information contact the President's Office, 387-1001.
