COMMUNITY

Thank you

A huge thank you to my LIS co-workers for the wonderful "queenly" retirement party. Such fun, even with the tears. To all who attended the reception and to all who have wished me well, thank you for your good wishes, greetings and gifts. It's been a joy to work with all of you and for the great friendships we have formed. I have enjoyed my 44+ years at Luther. It has truly been a joy to come to work each day. Thanks to all.

-Jean Dickman

Congratulations to participants of WEIGHT-ING GAME

Thanks to all who participated in the WEIGHT-ING GAME this past holiday season. There were 23 participants and only five who gained more than two pounds. Several stayed the same and a couple even lost weight. Kudos to all that took care of themselves first and then others.

Donations for Thornton family

We continue to ask for the community's prayers for Rick Thornton and his sons Travis and Ross as their home was destroyed in December by fire. They greatly appreciate the expressions of support they have already received. The Office for College Ministries will continue to receive donations until Feb. 15. Donations and expressions of support can be sent through campus mail or by mail to Office for College Ministries, Luther College, 700  College Dr., Decorah, IA 52101.
