ARTICLES, CREATIONS, HONORS, ETC.

Dan Davis (along with co-authors) published an article in the academic journal Marine Geology titled "Quantification of bottom trawl fishing damage to ancient shipwreck sites." The article is the result of research on a large group of ancient Greek and Roman shipwrecks discovered by Robert Ballard's Nautilus expeditions in Turkish waters (Aegean and Black Seas) in 2011-12, including one (Eregli E) that was heavily disturbed by a modern fishing trawl between two visits to the wreck. Contact Dan if you would like to see an electronic version of the article.
